Google of the Week

Part of (maybe) a regular feature here is a preset “Google-link” that produces results relevant to CDB… Coming soon will be a simple guide site to doing this for yourself, but it is just about the easiest, simplest, and most effective way to share external information without researching yourself…
So what is a Google-link It is merely the URL for a successful (in your mind) Google search. Just do a search, copy and past the URL as a result, trim off the un-necessary parts of the URL, and you have it.
First example is a search on RSS learning object and we get right away 10 relevant links:
http://www.google.com/search?&q=rss+learning+object
including Stephan Downes large collection of his blogs on RSS/LOs (well actually you get David Carter-Tod’s reference to Stephan’s words..)
The neat thing about the Google-links is with Movable Type’s Google tags, you can embed the search results as an RSS-like feed (just fetch a Google API key, it takes about 2 minutes of effort).
