I've been boycotting them too- between is both, their empire is crumbling.

Actually, I've gotten to like Kayak (http://www.kayak.com/) to check availability after which I too often end up on the airlines site.

I have been on a personal boycott of Expedia for over a year, when I had trouble with two major trips. They kept changing the flight times, weren't sending confirmation e-mails, and there were other things now I've blocked the trauma about. I go straight to the airline sites now, after checking Travelocity. So far, so good.

Just getting caught up on blogs--wow, you sure didn't deserve this. (I'm not sure anyone does, but I'm sure YOU don't.) Good to know Expedia's motto is "do evil, and make people listen to muzak on hold while you're doing it."

Good grief! Glad you're home safe. I sure hope you get the refund.

Just a tip: EXPEDIA might try to scam you too. You are not the only one having troubles with them :read this: http://www.expedianews.com (or click on my name to read how they tried to scam me).

I also laughed at "blows monkey chow."

Seriously though, that's really lame. Usually (it'll set you back a little more) I just do the deals through the websites that are offered by the airlines themselves.
