Sorry I missed todayś shenanigans. There´s no question that spontaneous synchronous get-together on the ´net are often gold. As indicated, Twitter is the perfect medium for ¨getting the word out" to the rest o' the smart mob. There´s something about the camaraderie that comes from being part of a group all banging away at and in some, or a number of, software application or another to connect with others around the world.

The best stuff is impromptu, because of the freshness and intensity it offers. Too bad on the archive--another gem lost in the intertubes. Looking forward to meeting many of you next week @ NV in YVR.

I´ll be the guy doing the ¨awkward-that-never-works name tag¨ schtick

This is the last time I go out on a Friday evening to watch a crappy movie with friends, look at all the excitement I missed! Don't know if you were there when Gardner ustreamed his New Media Studies classes final projects on a whim this past summer after me and and professor tweeted about wanting to see it, there was some magic there too.

The best and worst part of this kind of thing is it just happens and there is no other way to explain it, you just got to be there.

Yes the audio setting is funky, and you have to make sure you are not watching your own channel at the same time or you get the horrendous feedback loop.

I cant believe I forgot to record the session! Its juts a click but I thought it was going to be a 10 minute foray. Thanks to everyone who peeped in.

As to the fakereverendjim discussion, I'm amassing evidence to put you away for a long while for identity theft! Thanks for the twitter invite, I had a blast on UStream although like Teddy it took me way too long to figure out because I am obtuse. Nonetheless, I think the mini-reverend had a blast meeting Fresa.

This was fun, and I was only watching/listening. I figured out the audio part too late. Still don't have a video camera. But I was trying to do chat. Where was it?? I think I mistakenly left comments instead ... My tech prowess!
