I was driving on the Loop 202 this morning, minding my own business in the right hand lane just about even with ASU, musing about the interesting louvers installed on the First Solar building to the North and thinking about what a great conference this MCLI thing was going to be when BLAM! Something hit the driver's side window and it shattered into millions of pieces spraying me and the entire interior of my Toyota Echo with tiny cubes of glass. I didn't know what to do. I pulled over to the shoulder, but did not stop. I didn't think it was safe. I contemplated calling 911, but I was not having a "life threatening" emergency. I had glass throughout my hair and clothes and I knew I had to get this fixed and go home to change. I was not able to get it repaired in time to make it to any of the conference. I am very disappointed and I hope that you will posts bits and pieces of your talks online so I can try to see some of what I missed. I really was looking forward to finally meeting you in person.

I hope it was fun!
