Just got a chance to download your little greasemonkey script. It is fantastic! I used to avoid looking for photos from other people to put in my posts because I am too lazy (yes I know that is really lazy).
Thanks for lowering the bar for those of us who need the help ;-)

Alan, I do get an option for the thumbnail view of search results, but haven’t found a way to make it the default view. Might be cooliris doing that cool trick. Unfortunately cooliris crashes my browser, grrrr. If you find the script that’s doing that trick, let me know! Thanks for all the great info in your blog.

@pollyalida: Weird. Maybe the “i” is a feature of the CoolIris plugin (?). Do you at least see the results as shown in my screen shot? I just checked in Safari, and searches are appearing old style (scrolling list, 10 per page). Perhaps my post was too hasty…. not the first time
