Mikey and Alec Comment Show

Well there are spammers and then there are goofballs you have nothing better to do then send juvenile comments to my blog. This dog lifts a leg on Mike and Alec.

Congratulations to "michael farrell" and "Alec" for their Oxford English command of the written word (congrats also for being added to the banned IPs for CDB and having their clever words buried in this dog's back yard, under those old tennis shoes and the dead squirrel).

Revel in the wisdom of these modern Shakespeares:

This is very odd. What do you figure? Both IPs are from (if they are to be believed) an Australian ISP named OzEmail. It seems a hard to believe coindidence that two IPs in the same class C spammed your comments independently - seems more likely it is the same person whose IP changed when they logged back online. In any case, what has the cogdog done to p.o. the Aussies. You didn't write up a nasty review on EdNa's RSS feed, now did yeah?

Thanks for jumping in with the IP look-up. Here I was expecting it to be AOL accounts.

No, we have not peed on any Ozzies, to the contrary, I have praised EdNa for even out MEROT-ing MERLOT, and have a lot of good contacts from visits there in 2000 and 2001:

Obviously the same person, probably in different dial-up sessions. Apparently random keystrokes to fill in email and URL are identical - they had "Remember personal info" turned on...

Why the different names, then? Why spam the dog house? Why publicize their stunningly low intelligence and typing ability? Hmmm...

This is puzzling. Utter lack of motive that I can determine. Perhaps this heralds a new Australian conceptual art movement... Was there any relevance to postings they were defiling?
