When we started the EdTech Posse, it was primarily so that we could have regular conversations with each other. We weren't really thinking about audience, or that anyone might actually be interested in our babblings.

But we put it out there and didn't really think much more about it. When we found out some people were actually listening, it was a surprise to all of us. When people were willing to join the conversations, we were astounded.

We are from four relatively small towns in a small province, and so we often think of ourselves as being tucked away while a lot of cool stuff is swirling around in other places.

It was the first time I thought, "Holy crap, this stuff is out in the open" and realized that we were part of a much larger conversation that was starting to take hold.
