I spotted Kevin’s Thimble remix “How to Build a Boy Band” which has a play on an album concept and has a nice design. I immediately thought to myself — I bet a Dog Band would be interesting, so doing it the Mozilla Way, I remixed his Thimble:

how to build a dog band

into my own, which of course, is open again to you to remix in some other way via https://cogdog.makes.org/thimble/how-to-make-a-dog-band. For mine, all the dogs needed were in flickr creative commons searches.

This is the image I used for a background (I hoped for a good photo of a bunch of dogs of different breeds) (or better dogs with guitars)

It’s pretty obvious the last dude is the deranged drummer.

I made a few tweaks to the template, I find the text is hard to read depending on thre background so modiffied the man content wrapper div to use a translucent background:

.wrapper {
	position:relative;
	max-width:700px;
	margin:0 auto;

/* add a translucent background behind the text label */
	background-color: white;
	opacity: 0.6;
	filter: alpha(opacity=60);
}

and modified its text color to be black. I also had to add some padding to the text elements.
