While the blogs continue to bounce more banter on openness and open education, one more oblique suggestion based on the deep philosophical musings of The Gumped One:

and let’s not forget “that’s all I have to say about that.”
word up…it’s probably easier to point at what sites are getting “openness” right than it is to point at what the right definition of “openness” is.
And if it’s easier it must be better!
sorry, wasn’t advocating a lazy approach, I just meant that there are sites on the web that do have open resources and promote open access. Actions speak louder than words. Perhaps by picking the sites that we think do it best we can move the conversation towards their model.
