MERLOT: RSS SPOTTED (film at 11)

Well, no fanfare, no big announcement, just an utterance at an earlier web services presentation, but here in its full glory, a true blue MERLOT RSS feed for… the ten newest items in physica.

No secret that David Carter-Tod had an early clue- they are using his RSS News Center tool, another RSS to Javascript renderer. More source peeking, here is the real she-bang:

<SCRIPT LANGUAGE=JavaScript SRC=http://www.wcc.vccs.edu/services/news/channel.asp?c=http://taste.merlot.org/rss/publish/Physics.xml> </SCRIPT>

or more to click

http://taste.merlot.org/rss/publish/Physics.xml

Yes I know MERLOT will release more feeds (30 we heard). That will be a good thing. A better thing would be going beyond just newest, like saving search results as RSS, like saving personal collections as RSS, like…. well see what Lora and Boris have in mind Friday morning at 10:00 AM.
