It took some lubricant spray to get the Daily Photo to Flickr Habit going in January. Even with February providing one more day to summarize, and making it the Daily Photos 366 style group, I almost let is slip again.
But alas, I managed to get 60 photos in 60 days posted to my 17th round of this affliction. I also note that February 2024 was a significant milestone for Flickr, itself chalking what ought to be some kind of web award for longetivity 20th year of existence (and Non-Shittification), as I made my own homage to its Pink and Blue greatness.
My fellow flickr adoring photo colleague Roland Tanglao made an homage too (though his site seems to be surged out). Its impressive, or makes me jealous, because he was actually there in Vancouver on the very start, along with Boris Mann who, as a good web citizen keeps archives of his old posts see Flickr kicks off rich media arms race for social networking apps, Feb 16, 2004 when flickr was but 4 days old.
Also, Roland still owes me a lunch with a whole lot of interest.
None of this has much to do with this months photos. I will try again with a Five Flickr Photo Story approach for February 2024.
My editing and management in Lightroom is still a bit clumsy, but I have it organized well for original files, and some smart albums for flickr uploading. Perhaps a future blog post on this. Perhaps.
