Message From the Open Future

This was a video I had fun doing as part of the “crowdsourced” keynote assembled for the ETUG Spring 2011 workshop. The collection of videos was great and I really like this idea for assembling content around a message. I also had tossed in the “I am Bored As Hell…” video I did a few weeks ago. I was pleased that a few people thought this was a Brian Lamb production… I just have to work up a but more of a fevered pitch.

Sneak Preview! Amazing Stories of Openness 2011

I’m releasing a day early the collection of Amazing Stories of Openness I will show tomorrow at the opening of the ETUG Spring Workshop in Nelson, BC. These are just the videos, for the session, I have a few surprises up my sleeve, and may even gamble on doing a chunk of this w/o any visuals. So, yeah, bryan Alexander, go ahead and tweet it- your video with the axe was the first one I recorded and is a gem. My PirateBox is a StoryBox

Built as a way to easily, anonymously share files and chat over a local network (see David Darts hub site for full details). It establishes a public wireless network, but it is not anyway connected to the internet.
