As my OEG colleagues are finding out, if you invite me to your webinar, I will not arrive with a slidedeck, but instead… links.

I’m excited tomorrow to visit the Grinnell College’s online workshop A Home on the Web at the generous invitation of Mo Pelzel, one of those amazing connections again (and again) would not have happened without the the path crossing of the open web.

The workshop Mo and his colleague Tierney Steelberg has rolled out follow the path of Muhlenberg College’s domain event earlier this year, where I also got to pop in (slideless). It’s these conversation structured events I enjoy the most.

UPDATE: Here is an archive of the session.

In no particular order and guess level relevance, here are some links that I might use (or not).

Domains.me and Influences

First of all, the fact that an idea I mashed up from others that has been translated and hosted on another domain in Germany, says as much as anything that you cannot anticipate all the goodness that can happen when you share your stuff openly

If you do not read German, visit my site (and domain) https://pechaflickr.net/

This is my calling card site https://cog.dog/ (and a big thanks to Tom Owens for fetching my ideal domain name) , because when I was starting out, I did the thing I do not recommend, putting my blog at the front of the domain http://cogdogblog.com

I own 12 domains. It’s not a problem.

An important early influence was Jon Udell on Narrating Your Work https://cog.dog/roo/showing-work/narrating-work/ or my later flavor Show Your Work! https://cog.dog/roo/show/

And also Cory Doctorow’s My Blog My Outboard Brain which was originally published at http://archive.oreilly.com/pub/a/javascript/2002/01/01/cory.html But that link is worse then dead, it re-directs to nowhere useful. Fortunately (peabody) the Wayback Machine again saves the day.
