Did Someone Change the Drapes?

I’m slow to change some things…. I have had the same self modded theme on CogDogBlog since November 2005 (see the last face lift), so 4+ years later, I felt it was time to toy with some new digs.

But I am impulsive (I can speed shop with the best of them), so I looked at about 3 themes, and liked the approach of Patrick’s hoPE theme as it uses a flickr gadget to display my own photos in the upper right. I’ll kick this one around the yard a bit, tweak some sidebars, and give it my usual theme hacking.

Look for the next make over in 2014….

Love it! The photos up top are fantastic. You’ve inspired me to change my look as well … and perhaps some content from time-to-time.

Like the new look..it’s refreshing! Love the old photos, especially the pizza shot. I still have the chicken coop shot framed at my house.

I know I am nostalgic, but I miss the old cogdog blog theme, can you at least give me the option to view the site that way :)

  6. We aim to please the nostalgic Rev– check the sidebar for a “Pick a Theme, Jim” list of options!

Knock me over with a spoon! Interesting ideas and fresh and engaging graphic presentation to boot? It’ll take me four years to recover – don’t change anything for a bit so we can acclimate to the new digs!

Well done CDB. But shouldn’t you be out running? ;-)
