Everything that does not have a home, just a big old stinking pile of posts.
Summary: Jakob Nielsen tosses gasoline on the flames of the blogosphere by claiming blog posting dilutes an arbitrary measure of “expertise”. A thousand blog monkeys were deeply hurt. Oh Jacob Nielsen, you had to know upon writing “Write Articles, Not Blog Postings” the ire and furor it would stir up…. well, since he likely only […]
There’s no shortage at all of cool new tools to create and express yourself on the web. I came across Voicethread via a link from Tim Lauer (linktribution!). From its site: A VoiceThread is an online media album that allows people to make comments, either audio or text, and share them with anyone they wish. […]
A Cheap Lynnetter Knockoff posted 3 Jul ’07, 12.04am MDT PST on flickr Play is integral to this thing we call "work" in the new net space, not bounded by walls, old rules of behavior, etc. Where is the carefully drawn line between work and play? Dr Angela Thomas recognizes this dynamic of pleasure and […]
most people over 30 have trouble grasping why would want digital version of yourself posted 15 Dec ’06, 6.51am MST PST on flickr There used to be all this talk of the “digital divide” and it was between the haves & the have-nots in terms of what they could afford. But I think there is […]
It’s Monday, and I do not have an iPhone. The forecast is more of the same, for a long time. The mania, pro/con commentary is impressive for the sheer amount of energy generated/expended. Seriously, when was the time people camped out for a phone (yes, I know it is more than a phone)? And there […]

But get this, for those want to push the ratio even higher, is TwitterAdder with a new record of […]
Tweet of the Day posted 20 Jun ’07, 3.56pm MDT PST on flickr I think this is worthy of a t-shirt, an award, a bumper sticker, a cartoon, a short story… Linktribution to Rob Wall Let’s take a vote. I vote for… “shunned”. My mom is not on facebook!
At one time I bemoaned a future of having multiple blogs to spread my self around. That was so 1.0. I have two personal ones (one just for running or complaining about it), three ones at NMC for various projects, plus our main drupal site which has blog like writing duties, plus others I am […]
I’m too tired to even properly research this, but lately (?? weeks) I’ve been unable to get flickr to properly post blog posts to several of my WordPress blogs. Flickr keeps reporting my password may need to be changed, which is bunk as I know they are correct. With a little digging, I found an […]
